$310 per hour

This rate applies to initial testing enquiries, counselling appointments, making sense of diagnosis sessions, advocacy work and school visits.

Medicare rebates reduce out-of-pocket expenses if your child receives support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or aggressive or defiant behaviour. To claim Medicare rebates you need a referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

You may be able to claim some of the non-Medicare funded costs from your private health fund or self-managed NDIS plan. Because all plans and goals differ, Shapiro Learning cannot advise whether this will be the case for you. Please discuss this with your fund/plan before your first appointment.

$480 per hour

This rate applies to testing appointments and feedback appointments. There is no additional charge for brief specialist and teacher interviews, record reviews, results analysis or letters/reports.

You will only be charged for the time needed to answer your question and I cap testing/feedback fees at a reasonable level, meaning that you will not be charged more for these services even if your child requires more time.

I have a more extensive test library than most psychologists and will program only what’s necessary to answer your questions and identify the right support.
